This element is the integral part of moral or morality. But throughout life it has been seen that righteous person is not always saved or blessed, neither justified or protected, nor doing it wholeheartedly gives asurity that we will receive goodness or also be dealt with justice and equal balance. And it is certainly not guaranteed that we will receive good for our righteous action or our integrity, or our truthfulness, through which we pursue righteousness. And somewhere or the another, we will observe and see that the unrighteous, wicked, and morally, corrupt person who forsake justice, they all will be living the fullest, luxurious and beautiful life.
Then the question comes why keep on holding to such things in this morally corrupted world, where righteous person is not blessed and wicked person is prospered and go unpunished.
We might be preparing and working hard for our examination, and might have faithfully completed the examination as well, but it might not guarantee that we will score good marks, contrasting to this we might have already seen or would see, someone who cheats and lie would get greater results more than our handwork of months or even years.
We might be praying each time when ambulance passes from our side, but it might not guarantee that in our time of need or in our time of pain that we will even receive an ambulance.
We might have praying for every woman we meet, or we work with, or we have encountered in a life that in this world, they shouldn’t be raped, abused or violated of their body, soul and humanity, but in that goodness also, it does not guarantee, that our own family or woman at our home are safe, protected and no harm will come upon them.
We might be in a relationship, completely committed, lifelessly giving and faithfully serving and honestly transparent, even at the back of curtains when no eyes see or judgement passed, you still stay full of integrity and truthful, but still, it does not guarantee that you will receive the same from your partner, spouse, fiancé or at times even parents.
We might have been a stronghold for many people in their darkest time, but it does not guarantee us that we will receive a slightest of sun-ray at our darkest moment.
We might have been truthfully serving a community or a fellowship or people, or even may be Church, but at the same time, it does not guarantee that the same community, fellowship, people & Church will treat us with same truth and gentleness, contrasting to this, it might be, when we are praying for them, they might have been working to throwing us out of their life.
Then why pursue righteousness? when there is no guarantee that good is going to come out of it. And this is not something new or extraordinary, this questions come in one way or the another in our life and does violate our understanding completely, of Godliness, of Truth and mostly at the part of kindness. And many who went for depth to this question either got consumed in it or saved themself for eternity, and that is because throughout the process of search of the truth and meaning behind this intriguing and peace violating question, there are two possibilities that happens.
First thing, the person might get morally an intellectually so overwhelmed and confuse that they might choose to forsake their integrity and truthful judgement, and go away from the paths of righteousness. Second thing is, the person might get morally so convicted and determine that even in this point, they should continue with the integrity and truthful judgement and continues seeking and moving forward in the parts of righteousness. And majorly out of hundred percent, 98% of people choose not to continue in the parts of righteousness or to pursue righteousness anymore.
This has to be addressed, and this has to be learned for our protection and our generation, so that we may also not go astray and give into wickedness and unrighteousness, and go morally corrupt ways.
